The P16-70 Bahco Bypass Loppers are designed for cutting live wood. A pivot bolt that is offset from the natural center-line of the tool creates a slicing motion during the cut which helps to spread wear across more of the blade for longer life. The blade features a sap groove that reduces sticking during the cut. In addition, the hook-shaped counterblade helps to hold the branch in place and allows for a larger cutting diameter.
